PM: Russia prolongs moratorium on business checks until 2025

MOSCOW, Dec 15 (PRIME) -- The government has prolonged a moratorium on checks of business except high-risk entities until 2025, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said on Friday.

"We are prolonging the moratorium on checks for the next year… The moratorium has already proven to be effective. It helped reduce the number of checks by five times as compared with 2019. The business could allocate more resources on the fulfillment of its current tasks, on expansion of projects and conquering of new markets," Mishustin said.

The official separately ordered the government to monitor in real time and react to unjustified price increase for goods and public utilities in the country.
